Did anyone notice there is no trade deficit with Saudi Arabia? Talk about credibility problems...

Yeah why do you guys think that the Netherlands image they used is Denmark. It doesn't look anything like Denmark which is more vertical with a large island out to the right. It's clear that it's the Netherlands because of the massive bay in the northwest portion of the map.

    Total geographical ignorance.

Ohh and Venezuela is mixed up with Nigeria.
  • How many of you can say the samething. OMFG!!
  • travis
Uhhh, y'all mixed up Venezuela and Nigeria too.

As interesting as the concept is here, you pretty much ruined all of your credibility by not being competent enough to match the correct outline of a country with its name.

    Better luck next time.
  • ObviousOne
Oh, but, but...American's are idiots! /rolleyes
  • dizzywizard
ye are all sheep... falling off a cliff. i almost did the same.. jumped on the bandwagon...
but then i checked the map... it didn't look like a mistake to me.

    http://www.geographicguide.net/europe/maps-europe/political.htm

it is Holland (Netherlands) and not Denmark,
unless the graphic here was changed you all just get pwnd.

it is quite interesting how like dominoes in the comments.. nobody checking the facts.. ye all fell down

    ha ha

Is it the diameter of the circles or their area which represents the size of the trade?
  • David
Hey, did any of you guys notice that the Netherlands look like Denmark? I felt that this observation was much more important than the observation that this infographic is really depressing.
  • God
    I made me feel superior
  • Mary
I think Denmark was mixed up with the Netherlands.

    :) yeah
  • John
A lot of the Mexico/Canada deficit is American companies manufacturing there, and then importing back to the US.
  • Joseph
Oh no! not a mistake regarding the netherlands! that would almost be worth about... it's a mistake but after the first 5 people do you really think you needed to make a comment, or did it just make you feel superior to do so?

    nice infographic

17 responses - all regarding the map of Denmark. You're making fun of Americans yet cannot leave an intelligent comment. Duh ha ha look at map - not right map - ha ha Duh.

    From the BBC:

Thank you for everyone caught up in Obama Bin Laden mania, so how much can he spend? Setting our current deficit at 1.6 trillion it is higher than ever in history already. And what do we see for all this money? We are falling further into recession.

We(Americans) I fer have sealed the fate of our nation. With nothing to show for our efforts and the white house pushing us further.

The White House says the deficit will grow further, predicting it will hit a cumulative $9tn from 2010-2019. - BBC news

9tn dollars? Congratulations, really great job everyone. I know all candidates this time around sucked but this is out of control!

    Mike O,
I dont think talking about "guys..pretty anal" is kewl. This thread is ment to discuss the trade 411 of the US, not that stuff you are talking about. Stay classy for the children.
  • Mike O.
Surprised France is so far down the list of trade partners. And it is not shown at all in the surplus/deficit mapping.

    Jeez...get over the Denmark/Netherlands thing, guys...pretty anal.
  • Dude Bro
Dude, the map of the Netherlands looks a Pokemon that exploded and is now dead. just fyi.
  • Robin
The only reason Canada's surplus is so high is due to the 1.4 million barrels of oil per day. Soon to be 4 million barrels a day. Slowly watching the CDN dollar reach par. EH!
  • Andrew
Venezuela and Nigeria's silhouette are switched...
  • Lars
Cool, did'n knew that Netherlands had the shape of Denmark!
  • anonymous
Oof! The Netherlands outline is actually a map of Denmark.

That's a good education at work.

And you wonder why Americans can't compete.
  • idiots
Of how much credit is this graphic when the Netherlands is pictures as DENMARK?
  • Marc
The Netherlands has the map of Danmark (Fail)
  • Instead of the Netherlands, did you mean Denmark?
Because the map you found of the Country is of denmark. Not Netherlands..

    //Eax
  • Dutchman
Uhm as a Dutchman I can honestly say I dont recognise the Netherlands at all. In fact it resembles Denmark. Oh well who cares about Europe anyway.. US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A! US and A!
